Ever wonder why some dining spaces feel effortlessly curated, while others feel a little cold?
The secret almost always hangs right above the table. Here is the design story behind the Orbion Pendant Lamp — from the first studio sketch to hand-blown white glass — along with a guide to picking the right fit from its 9 distinct configurations.
Finding Balance in Geometric Folds
The Orbion started with a simple question in our studio: how do you give clean geometric structure to soft ambient light? Inspired by modernist architectural origami and kinetic balance, our designers paired a precision-bent, matte black framework with glowing spheres of frosted opal white glass. The stepped Z-profile was crafted to create visual movement — feeling grounded yet completely weightless.
The Blueprint & Spatial Math
On the drafting table, spatial equilibrium was everything. Because the fixture relies on an asymmetrical offset, our engineering team refined dozens of CAD drawings and hand sketches. We calculated the exact counterweight and suspension points so that the fixture hangs in dead-level horizontal alignment the second it's installed over your table.

Opal White Glass & Cold-Rolled Iron
We hand-selected materials built to age with dignity.
Crafted from pure silica and mineral diffusers to cast a soft, milk-white ambient glow that completely eliminates harsh bulb glare.
Precision-cut and folded to exact 90-degree angles, then finished in a fingerprint-resistant matte black powder coat to withstand kitchen humidity.
Fire, Fold, and Hand-Wiring
Each Orbion undergoes a multi-step artisanal journey.
Craftsmen shape molten glass at over 2,200°F in custom steel molds, followed by an 8-hour annealing cycle to eliminate internal thermal stress.

The cold-rolled iron spine is laser-cut and formed using hydraulic presses for razor-sharp, seamless geometric edges.

Technicians hand-wire each socket and run live-current burn-in tests to guarantee flicker-free safety and effortless leveling.

9 Styles, Tailored to Your Floor Plan
No two spaces are the same, which is why the Orbion is designed in 9 modular configurations. Whether you need a compact single-drop pendant for a bedside reading corner, a dynamic 2-light stepped silhouette for an intimate breakfast table, or an expansive multi-light linear fixture over a 10-foot kitchen island, there is a tailored layout for your space.

Quick Hanging Rules
Even the most beautiful pendant will look off at the wrong height — use this as your reference.
Position the lowest glass sphere 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop — anchoring dinner conversations without cutting off eye contact.

Space multiple units 28 to 32 inches apart to create a rhythmic, architectural ceiling pattern.

Pair with warm LED bulbs to draw out the soft, luminous warmth of the frosted white glass.
Bring handcrafted geometry and quiet architectural warmth into your home.
